National Ice Cream Day! Get yourself out there and enjoy a heaped scoop of ice cream, a ice cream sandwich or a delicious banana spilt! Let's share some history of this incredible dessert. Ice cream is one of the oldest types of desserts. It is believed that the history of ice cream probably started in Iran’s Achaemenid Empire, in roughly 500BC. This is when different flavours were combined with ice in order to create treats to enjoy during the summer months 🍦🍨🍧 What's your favourite flavoured ice cream?

A great example of our fab working practices when using our digital technology and Electronic Medication Administration Records effectively! Annie and Faith informed us of a client's new prescribed cream so they could administer this. The information was transferred to the EMAR immediately to ensure the records were up to date and cream administered. The use of EMARs reduce the risk of medication errors and ensure client's medication records are always up to date in real time. Thankyou to Annie and Faith for embracing the process to create a faster, smoother process of medication administration and record keeping ✅✅✅ The smiley photo of Annie with the medication was not mandatory but very much welcomed!

Slow down in old age? No Thanks!! Our perception of old age is changing for the better. We conducted a survey of over 1000 adults of all ages across the UK.
We know from our own clients how much the older generation are keen to keep active and maintain a healthy lifestyle and our research has demonstrated this. We found that people’s appetite for life doesn’t dip as life progresses. The survey revealed

• 89% of over-75s have an undiminished appetite for life agreeing on the need to stay active as you get older
• 66% of all respondents endorse diet and exercise as a means to stay youthful
• But there is also frustration with an average 58% agreeing that older people are not encouraged enough to play sport.

We’re here to help. Our Care Professionals are trained to look out for potential scams or fraud targeting our clients so that they can intervene and prevent it.
