This little dress really is a little piece of history. Knitwit was a company offering sewing classes, patterns and fabrics and this dress is made from a Knitwit fabric "Pazazz". I can just imagine someone sewing a dress for the first time and being super proud of producing this pretty little dress! The fabric has a little stretch but is very light and the print is so vibrant. It has had some minor repairs since arrivng at Filly and Dilly but the vast majority is the original sewing.

A sneak preview of the vintage dress shoot I did today with my beautiful friend Sarah. I'm so lucky to have fab friends and family who have agreed to be my models and Sarah was the first to step in front of the camera. It was a little nerve-wracking given that both Sarah and her hubby film and photograph weddings for a living - and there I was with my Galaxy S3 snapping away! But Sarah was brilliant and I think you can all agree she looks absolutely stunning!
