This is why strength training should be priority.
Exercising with barbells, Dumbbells, or machines will grow muscle , increasing bone density & grip strength while pumping more blood for better heart health.
Simply put resistance training
(weight training) will make you live
longer.
guarding against disease such as osteoporosis, diabetes ,obesity , heart, depression, to name but a few.
You are also more likely to recover from disease if you are physically fit .
Muscle is the organ of Longevity try using a h form of weight training called peripheral heart action (PHA )

Anthony’s lower body session band assistant sissy squats getting a big stretch though the quads pushing the knees right over the toes big improvement in mobility and strength considering he had an old ACL reconstruction with a post and screw and hamstring graft 😳.
The Squat and Deadlift are known as the 2 best exercises you can do that strengthens the whole body.
They will make you leaner stronger quicker, with massive benefits for all sports and real life.
They help stabilise the hips back and knees helping prevent injuries or rehabilitation of existing injuries.
Movement assessments and mobility drills are a great starting point

However it is crucial both exercises have to be performed with good technique.
Using my system will get you performing both with great form quicker.
Two big compound exercises that build muscle and burn a tonne of calories which have greater benefits than doing endless crunches or sit-ups.
Everyone has abdominals( six pack )

Sit-ups and crunches burns few calories whereas deadlifts and presses will burn a hell of a lot more

The Dts movement assessment
Is the unique system that any new personal training client I start goes through .
Which gives me the information to build an exercise programme which is personalised to the individual.
The main injury or dysfunction sights are shoulder ,knee and back / hip all of which are covered in the assessment.
Well done Fergus for getting this far but this is only the start.
Consistency is the key to hitting the goals we set ourselves.
This guy has made me laugh and swear dealing with issues physically and mentally to achieve the results so far but we are only part of the way there.
