Why is singing to babies important?🎶

Singing to your baby is one of the first language lessons you can give them. Even before they’re born, babies recognise simple music and their mother’s voice whilst in the womb.✨

Music and child brain development are closely linked, so the more your child is involved in singing the better it is for their development.🎶✨

It’s also great for language development from a very young age. When you sing, even little babies pick up on intonation or the patterns of talking, which is why you might find them babbling with different tones – they might sound like they’re talking before they actually are.🚀💫🎈

🦋Plan clothes in advance to avoid last minute stress
🐣Let your child choose their outfits, give them a sense of autonomy

Newborns sleep irregularly, in short bursts of 2-4 hours, with frequent awakenings. 💤They spend a lot of time in REM sleep. Their circadian rhythm isn’t set until 3-6 months, causing day-night confusion.

As they grow, consistency in bedtime routines helps establish better sleep habits.🚀

Waiting: Toddlers can only wait for 4-6 minutes at age 2, but by 4, they grasp the concept better. Keep them engaged while waiting. ⏳👶

Daily Routine: Toddlers take about 2 months to adapt to new routines, which offer them confidence and security. Deviating from it can cause anxiety or tantrums. Stay patient and calm. 📅😌

Sharing: Sharing skills develop around 3.5 to 4 years. Forcing sharing isn’t teaching it. Respect their possessions and understand their reluctance to share. 🤝🚫

Separation Anxiety: Between 6 months and 3 years, separation can trigger tears and anxiety, signaling strong emotional attachment. It’s normal, so stay calm and reassure them. 😢❤️
