6m bell tent as above with a 3-4 person Canadian Spa Hot Tub, shared shower & toilet
6m bell tent as above with a 7 person Canadian Spa Hot Tub in a very secluded spot with your own exclusive shower & toilet.

Farm woodland weddings Welcome to our lovely 13 acre smallholding Oak Tree Farm nestled in the Welsh Carmarthen countryside

A heavy duty 4.4m to 5.8m security barrier. Overall height 1.52m (dig and concrete posts into ground!) Ground plate with holes to bolt down to concrete base. The main frame is made of 4" square and the upright posts 8" square. Enclosed latch cover so padlock cannot be easily accessed. Main gate is 4.4m long, receiving post is 1.4m long (these could be cut off if too big!) This is a very strong security barrier - very rare!! £950 ono!

So for 2024 season we are including accommodation in our 1861 farmhouse. With a master bedroom with ensuite, a double bedroom, main bathroom and single room it can easily sleep 5. This is to be included in Package 2, 3 & 4 at no extra cost. It is to be used in combination with the Bridal Suite - for the bride/groom/family.

I've had dogs my entire life and realise the importance of having your dog(s) at your wedding. They can take an active role as a 'RingBearer' or just chilling enjoying the day.

Farm Woodland Weddings
Looking forward to the 2024 Wedding Season - we are starting work on our barn to convert it to the 'Chapel Style' seen in the photo below. This will provide an alternative 'Ceremony' area if the weather turns wet.

The move to the countryside from an urban area is the dream of a large group of people. Some never go for it, always planning but never quite plucking up the courage to make the 'leap of faith' For a lot of people money can be a big obstacle. For those that do 'make it' their initial ideas may change over time. It certainly did for us. Originially self-sufficiency was the goal (and we have finally come around full circle with self-sufficiency being a major goal once more - particularly with the current global problems!!)
We were steered more down the farming route, breeding 200 pigs a year, milking jersey cattle and rearing jacob sheep. This lead on to marketing our rare breed pigs and eventually getting involved in a 'Hog Roast' franchise which at the time was highly lucaritive but very time consuming away from the smallholding & family.
Covid came and went - effectively dismantled our hog roast business and gave us time to reflect what we wanted. Time spent with family on our land and not driving for hours on a motorway to host a 'Hog Roast Party'.
Out of the mist rose the idea of setting up a wedding venue (admit with the experience of catering at over 400 weddings helped!!!) So 'Oak Tree Farm Wedding Venue' was developed. Our land changed subtly from rough pasture to mowed lawns.
