As an organisation that exists to build mentally healthier populations, the inclusion of the Mental Health Act in the King’s Speech is something that is welcomed.

We are fully aware of just how important the pledge by the new government to modernise the act is for our partners within the wider mental health industry. We are in full support of them and believe that everyone in the UK must have autonomy, and rights, over their mental health care. Thus ensuring choice, and a voice, when it comes to the most effective services and support that aligns with an individual's specific needs and wants.

Stuck in that annoying sleep stress cycle? 🥱

⬇️ Here are three game-changing tips to kick sleep stress

1️⃣ Wind down before bed with some self-care. Whether it's diving into a good book, enjoying a movie night or a hot shower, creating a calming pre-sleep routine can pave the way for a peaceful night's rest.

2️⃣ Give your worries an early check-in. Dedicate a little time before bedtime to address your thoughts and concerns. Jot them down in a journal or your phone notes to clear your mind before hitting the hay.

3️⃣ Say no to bedtime stress triggers. Avoid last-minute stressful activities like homework or intense social media scrolling. Identify what stresses you out and tackle it at a more suitable time during the day. Your bedtime routine will thank you! ✨

Did this help you?? Check out more info about sleep by clicking the link in our bio! 🔗 We're here for you.

Ring ring, it's self-care calling 📱✨

Today, let's talk about the art of prioritising YOU. In the hustle of daily life, it's easy to forget the importance of self-care. Take a moment to pause, breathe, and invest time in activities that bring you joy and relaxation.

Whether it's diving into a good book, having a solo dance party, or simply reflecting in a peaceful space, these small acts contribute significantly to your well-being. Self-care isn't just a luxury; it's a vital part of maintaining a healthy mind.

➡️ Remember, your mental health matters, and you hold the power to nurture it. So, answer that call for self-care, and make it a priority in your routine.

💬 There are many reason why someone may be a people pleaser, we as humans are neurologically wired for connection and validation. This is something that is out of our control.

However, making a conscious decision to consistently please others may lead to a loss of personal boundaries, lack of self-esteem and difficulty forming healthy relationships.

Letting go of people pleasing behaviour can be difficult, but it may also be one of the most valuable things you do.

We have put together a few small steps for you to try out here. Remember to give yourself the love and validation you may crave from others and watch how your mindset improves. Start small. 💙✨
