It took a lot of data collection, time and effort but we are glad to have our carbon emissions measured and a reduction plan in place. Go Climate Positive provided an excellent service, helping us understand the process and offer us ideas on how to reduce our impact on the environment. π
Now we have the plan in place we are looking forward to implementing our actions and working towards our goal of 33.6% reduction over 5 years. π

π On this , let's support one another by making use of the available resources for mental health, as taking care of your mental health is just as important as your physical health. Here at Roberts Limbrick, we have trained Mental Health first aiders available to talk to anyone when they feel they need to. π§
One of our Trained mental health first aiders, Chris Carson, has this to say on mental health in the workplace: π
βIt's positive to talk, when people open up about work issues it helps everyone, they do say a problem shared is a problem halved! Issues within the workplace stem from a wide range of things but don't necessarily have to relate to work. Our offices certainly recognise that people can feel overwhelmed, get stressed or believe that they canβt cope with a situation or piece of work - I certainly grind to a halt sometimes. It is important to remember to take a moment, re-focus, plan and then have a go again.
Remember, starting 'that' conversation might just be what someone needs and as a mental health team, we are here for that chat!β
π² A huge well done to the 8 members of Roberts Limbrick and all others who took part in the Pedal for Maggie's Centres bike ride in Cheltenham.
The Maggieβs annual bike ride is always a great time and fundraises for a meaningful cause. The team cycled either 40 or 60 miles around Cheltenham to raise money and awareness for Maggieβs cancer care.
