More details will be announced in the coming weeks but we can of course confirm there will be live music, tasty food, local cider and lashings of delicious, delicious Mallys and BSA beer! New beer from BSA!

Good morning friends, great news………..it’s a BSA Brew Day!! Our first brand new beer in a little while is a continental inspired pale with a rich, smooth body and a fruity, zesty hop punch from all French hopping! Available in cask in a couple of short weeks!!

The start of Huddersfield beer week is fast approaching so we thought it's only right that we introduce some of the amazing local breweries that we will be showcasing for this wonderful event as part of our Huddersfield tap takeover! First up, we have Mallinsons 😍

Mallinsons was formed when two teachers, with a passion for beer, decided one Friday night that they needed to put their money where their mouths were.

​​Instead of just drinking beers, they were going to start a brewery. They saved for several years, went on brewing courses, and finally formed Mallinsons Brewing Company in a garage in Lindley in 2008.

​Initially Tara alone brewed and delivered the beers, but by 2010 Elaine was able to join in. By 2012 they had outgrown the garage and their 6 barrel plant. They commissioned a new 15 barrel plant and relocated to Lockwood.

​​By 2013, Nick had joined the team and they expanded production volume and variety. The front office was converted into a bottle shop and a tap house was opened in Huddersfield in 2016.

Thursday is the new Friday, for us at least!! We’ve pulled the brew a day early so we can spend tomorrow prepping for Mally Summerfest! The whole brewery team will be here on Saturday so come down, say hello and enjoy great beer, delicious food and awesome live music!!

We have exciting news, this summer we’re bringing you…….Mally Summerfest!! Save the date for Saturday 2nd July where we’ll be opening up the brewery (and beer garden!!) for another day of cracking beer, great food and fantastic live music! A poster with all the details will be out soon but for now I can confirm food from The Plant Deli and live music from So ‘N’ So. As well as Sam and Richard running the bar brilliant once again! We hope too see you all down here at the brewery then!!
