Say hello to the newest member of our flock! Finished in an inky black stain the ebonised wood contrasts beautifully with the brass wingnut while retaining the same tactile finish - and tuneful song - that has proven so popular on the iroko and maple designs.

Available in limited numbers (for now), the ebonised Chirp was born out of Anden's commitment to reducing waste in the workshop. When working on our most recent batch of Chirp we discovered an unusual dark discolouration on some of the timbers that just didn’t make the grade. Rather than use these beautifully crafted items for firewood we decided to see how well they would take a stain. And we couldn't be happier with the results.

Designed and crafted in East London, they’re made using solid cherry wood for the handles and a beautifully hard wearing maple for the handle. These versatile chopping boards are ideal for presenting cheese, bread and charcuterie, and, if we’re honest, will even make a frozen pizza look great.
