Church Street Dental Surgery

We are a private practice in the heart of Saffron Walden with three surgeries.

Surgery Hours Monday to Friday are: Monday 8am-5.30pm, Tuesday 8am-5.30pm, Wednesday 8am-7.30pm, Thursday 8am-5.30pm, Friday 7.45am-4pm.
No Weekends
You should be GDC registered with experience or be enrolled on a dental nursing course already.
The responsibility of the full time position will consist of:

Keeping all clinical instruments clean, tidy and sterile in accordance to best practice - on a daily basis a full auditing tool is provided and further training for this will be given.
Provide and maintain chair-side assistance whilst accurately completing patient clinical records as instructed - we use Software of Excellence
Ensure the care and well being of patients at all times and ensure smooth patient communications
Ensure adequate stocks of materials and personal protection equipment and maintain equipment logs.
Be able to communicate well with patients and make the clinicians aware of any concerns the patients have.
Help patients to confidently complete medical history forms and questionnaires.
Take payments & also make and receive telephone calls if necessary.
Help patients with enquiries regarding practice membership.
Must be able to adjust and adapt in their working environment.
Implant nursing experience is desirable.
Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £10.50-£12.60 per hour

Dental assisting: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification: Valid GDC registration (preferred)
