Beautiful blinds like these require two posts π
It took a bit of calculating as the pattern repeat for this fabric is 160cm. When you're thinking about such a gorgeous fabric like this one from Warner House for your new Roman blinds, you don't want to waste it, and you want to be sure everything turns out well.
I love matching patterns for bay windows, they make me proud, especially this one! π Can you see the seam in the side return? Just a little detail, because quality and beauty π
The window frame is in progress to match the other window, it's going to be perfect!

What a lovely fabric for Roman blinds π
The pattern repeat is 160 cm and works very well in this bedroom.
Beautiful print helps with perfect pattern-matching, and seams are visible only if you closely look for them π
Of course, blackout-lined, although there will be daylight leaking through the sides, it helps with a good night's sleep, and colours stay vibrant.
Look for another post, the bay window.

I am rather proud and pleased with Apex curtains.
Swipe to the next picture to see the wooden beam and how well I cut the heading around. And stripes, I did have a go and calculated the pleats to go with stripes. Although they are short, because they are high, they have a cord and cleat, to make the curtains opening easy and safe.
They are blackout to ensure a good night's sleep.
And finally, made also matching Roman blinds.
This was nice and slightly different, we might say challenging, but I prefer interesting.
I have my camera full of interesting curtains and blinds, just to find time to share them all.

I am looking for pictures of Roman blinds with crystal bead trimming for inspiration, and I found I made too many to go through the email.
Here we go let's be social and share with everyone π
A handmade roll up blind to dress the window.
The blind has cords and works well rolling up and down, but here is beautifully arranged to decorate the window.
Interlined Wave curtains and custom-made curtain track.
The main reason is to stop the draught, but they are also beautiful π€©
I love embroidered fabrics and this modern and practical design. π
Made in January, fitted in February and sharing in March, I'll get there π

Pair of handmade curtains with double pinch pleated heading and blackout lined.
Hang them up higher so they cover the curtain pole to create a more relaxed and informal look.
I like it when every pleat is the same. π
The first pair of curtains are made, but we are not done yet.
I made perfect curtains to be proud of. However, this is not the desired look. Go to the last pictures and stay tuned to see a few more options or shall we say "makeovers" ποΏΌ
Gorgeous Roman blinds π
Interlined with tassels.
Trade work again, so pictures from my workroom only.
Since we moved the house, the upholstery became a little bit tricky to do.
I took this chair in December for quiet days in January to test possibilities.
I am not advertising upholstery, only sharing what I did π
In this weather π§ βοΈ I appreciate the draught curtain I made last year.
The curtain is both-sided because it's on top of the stairs, stopping the draught from the cold porch.
The wave heading works best here as it looks perfect from both sides.
Made from side to side, ceiling to the floor, and that's what does all the magic πͺ
As it folds so neatly, it's there all year and still looks new. I love π₯° it.

Are colours and patterns making a comeback?
Well, if you use them as well as Rachel.Bottomley, they are everything but old-fashioned and boring, that's for sure. The colours and pattern can be stunning and pleasing, and if well combined, they create a luxurious and heartwarming home.
Can you see the difference? I took detailed pictures in my workroom and Rachel in her bathroom π
I love to sew, and this handmade and interlined valance is one of those orders to remember.
Thank you, Rachel for your order π
