Mad to think the baby could actually come at any time, but praying they stay in there and get fully cooked please 🙌🏼
Lots more growing still to do little cookie, plus mumma and papa still have a lot to do to prepare for your arrival and give you the best home possible
SUPER grateful for the comfortable pregnancy I have had so far, and although struggled a few times mentally and emotionally (I’ll discuss that another time) I am so blessed to have this opportunity 🙏🏼
So, hopefully here’s to the next 12 weeks 😬 🍪 ❤️

Spending the morning in bed looking through photos and memories of the year so far fills my heart ❤️
I got into the swing of monthly round ups and realised I had done any this year, so here’s the first third of 2024 🥰
Nothing short of wholesome moments. Time is precious and goes so fast, so making the most of it by spending it with those closest to me has been a priority for me and it’s so worth it 🫶🏼
It’s been a manic year so far with the pregnancy, house selling and buying and navigating life around all of that, but I wouldn’t change any of it, as it’s change and change is growth and it’s challenging too but leads to the best.
It’s going to be a summer to remember that’s for sure 🤩
Take the photos, take the videos, but make sure to look back on them, don’t just leave them in the library to fade away

HONEST EMOTIONS
This week on stories I spoke about how I’ve been emotionally feeling during my pregnancy so far… and it turns out it’s actually been a huge lack of emotions!
My perception of pregnancy before falling pregnant was this pink cloud and bubble of overwhelming happiness and excitement and connection and love and I haven’t felt any of those feelings.
Then because I haven’t felt any of those emotions, I’ve been left with feeling guilty and disheartened.
Apart from feeling not myself for the first trimester, I have no other sign to feel pregnant (no bump yet and no movement) and so even seeing the baby on the scans and hearing the heartbeat hasn’t really made a connection as to that’s what’s happening inside me.
My life yet hasn’t really changed. So I guess it’s understandable why I haven’t felt those emotions but it’s really shocked me. When I then spoke about it on stories I had floods of messages from so many of you who have experienced the same thing!
I found those messages super helpful, as did you find it positive that I was speaking about the topic on stories. So I wanted to share some of those messages for you all to connect and relate with.
I am undoubtedly super grateful and happy and blessed with my pregnancy as it’s what we hoped and planned for and I and of course happy, just shocked at the lack of emotions I’ve felt so far

New Year Expectations
Ok so a lot of us don’t like to think of New Years Resolutions anymore and I understand how it can all feel rather pressured. But I came across someone who did the above… a list of the things you want into your new year and a list of things you want out.
Just small points and expectations that you can easily work on daily/weekly/monthly
Why don’t you make a little list. Have a think and see what you come out with, then keep it somewhere you can be reminded.
Small steps are still steps 👌🏼

Beach Body Ready.
Who has these words rattling around their brain lots at the moment with the countdown to your holiday?
I hate this saying, and any diet cultured body statement for holiday! (For any time but holiday is a profound moment for them isn’t i!)
I loved beach days… because I love to people watch. I find it FASCINATING how every single bodies body is somewhat different.
The lumps and bumps and curves and rolls and muscles and stretch marks and cellulite and pigmentation and hair and height and width and posture… I find it fascinating. The best bit about it all, is that every single person I saw were enjoying the beach, the sea, the sunshine… whatever your body type, shape, feel… the level of enjoyment you get at the beach is all down to you! You and your confidence and your ability to not give a f**k what others see you for
Your physical appearance doesn’t determine you as an individual!
‘One man’s rubbish is another man’s treasure’ … we all see through different eyes, and we all have different perceptions. One person will see you as a goddess and one person will see through you for a nobody…How many times have you been to the beach and heard all of these perceptions and thoughts and views from people… it’s likely you haven’t, so why care about them so much!
Thoughts provoke feeling, feeling provokes action, actions provoke behaviour… so let’s start at the thoughts, and think more about how to enjoy the beach, the ocean, the sunshine, the food and drink, the memories made with people you love and let that transpire through to feelings actions and behaviours.
Stop thinking about wether you are Beach Body Ready 🙄 and how your bodies appearance is going to be perceived as that will only provoke negative feelings and actions and behaviours and that’s not want a holiday is about!
Every single person is ready for the beach, we’ll as long as your got your factor 50! That sun hits differently after the pandemic!

A lovely testimonial from a mama I have recently worked with after she was referred by her pelvic health physio. She gained a large and weak diastasis after having her first bubba, and wanted to make sure she strengthened herself up and followed some postpartum rehab to be safe rather than sorry. I am so glad I had the opportunity to work with this mama and help her understand the physiology to postpartum rehab. We used exercises to help bring the diastasis in to be less significant, and make her diastasis strong and functional so that she can perform all exercises now confidently.

Why Pre/Postnatal PT?
I have specifically studied and qualified further into pre/postnatal coaching for the past 6/7 years, and still have so much to learn and discover.
The reason I choose to become a PT was because I had extensive experience in coaching, loved the gym and my own fitness and exercise and believed that exercise was for EVERYONE.
The reason I then decided to delve more into pre/post was because I believe an individual’s health, fitness and wellbeing starts from the very beginning and that a healthy mumma helps create a healthy bubba. I also realised how lacking the industry was for mums to be. When I did my L3 pre/post qualification, it was then how I realised how lacking the industry was. It was such a basic course, it left me feeling I needed to do more, that I possibly couldn’t confidently train a pregnant mumma with the lacking knowledge I had been supplied with on that course. So that’s when my obsession with studying and learning about exercise for pre/post started 😊
It also horrifies me that a postpartum mumma is checked off by the doctor/nurse to go back to exercise (which could mean anything, from swimming to full contact rugby 🤯) 6 weeks after giving birth with simple questions answered like ‘how are you feeling?’ & ‘has your stitches healed?’… 🤯🤯🤯
Yet an individual after a knee operation will be given physio and a back to exercise programme! MADNESS
Postnatal exercise is so bespoke and down to the individual, which is why I love coaching it! There is so much to coach! 🤓 I love helping every single mother with every individual symptom she has, it keeps me alive as a coach
It’s also a role that I learn so much, from the client… I hope to be a mumma one day, and I get to learn so so much from my mummas. They have know idea how much they inspire me in return! It is such a rewarding job, and I love the intricacies of it. Woman’s health is so important, and it never stops, one milestone leads into another and that’s why I do what I do and love what I do too ❤️
