I absolutely loved creating this airy and whimsical style for my gorgeous bride Caitlin. For this look I advised Caitlin to go for some extensions. At the trial we loved the style and shape but wanted to give it more of a wow factor. Also, extensions will ensure longevity for the whole day!

🤍◻️VEILS◻️🤍

I just wanted to talk about veils and their combs. Please read if you have a huge plastic one on yours 😬 Veils normally come with a plastic comb already attached and they’re more often than not huge, thick combs. These are quite difficult to slot in and hide behind your beautiful style especially if you’ve gone for a polished bun. They can be difficult to secure too as the bobby pins used to secure open too wide around the tooth of the comb and cant do it’s job properly. It’s really not ideal, especially if you’re going for the veil under the style look like the one in the pic.

My suggestion and favourite comb is the small metal combs which normally have gaps through the teeth of the comb, it makes it soooo much easier to secure as the bobby pin stays closed and can secure the veil to your head nicely without disturbing your style too much. You can ask your seamstress to change the comb on your veil, it’s so easy for them to do and help you and your hairstylist out so much!
Also, if you are going for the under the veil look it’s a good idea to get your seamstress to turn your comb around the opposite way, your veil will sit a lot nicer and not stick out!
