I have a question that no JW can seem to answer.

Any JW want to try?

Today is an important day for Jehovah's Witnesses, tonight is their annual Memorial Meal. It is an occasion when they deny Jesus by refusing to partake in the Lord's Supper. Believing it is not for them, they choose to listen to their leaders rather than the Word of God. Let's pray that the Spirit of God will move in their Kingdom Halls this evening, and they will chose Jesus rather than the Watchtower.

Luke 22:19-20
And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood."

If you've ever had a JW quote Hebrews 12:1 to make a point that witnesses are mentioned in the Bible (trying to justify the group's name), you might want to take them to Acts 7 v58 and show them the witnesses laying their coats at Saul's feet so they could stone Stephen.

Question to ask a Jehovah's Witness.

Jesus warns us of false prophets who will come in his name.

Jehovah's Witnesses will claim that they are not prophets and the Watchtower's Predictions about Armageddon are not prophecies.

Ask your next JW how they would define a false prophet?

It could be an interesting experience.

If you've ever questioned a JW about the translating committee of the New World Translation, you will no doubt be told that they are anonymous because they want the glory to go to God and not take any glory for themselves.

Maybe you'd want to ask the JWs why the Governing Body isn't anonymous also? Is it because they want to take all the glory?

Jehovah's Witnesses will try to convince you that the Holy Spirit isn't a person, but an impersonal force.
But even their own New World Translation doesn't agree with them.
John 16:13 and 14 says that the Holy Spirit is a He on numerous occasions.

Just asked the Chat GPT artificial intelligence engine to write a piece on Jehovah's Witnesses belief about Jesus and to include a few verses that refute that teaching.

30 seconds later, how'd it do?

Jehovah's Witnesses believe that Jesus is not equal to God and is instead a created being, known as the "archangel Michael." They base this belief on their interpretation of Bible verses such as John 1:1 and Colossians 1:15-17.

However, many Bible verses indicate that Jesus is indeed equal to God and co-eternal with Him. For example, in John 1:1, the Bible says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." This verse clearly states that Jesus, referred to as the "Word," is God.

Colossians 1:15-17 also states that Jesus is "the image of the invisible God" and "the firstborn of all creation." The verse goes on to say that "by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him." These verses indicate that Jesus played a significant role in creation and is therefore equal to God.

John 10:30 Jesus also himself said "I and the Father are one."

Additionally, in Isaiah 9:6, the prophet Isaiah foretells the coming of the Messiah, saying, "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." This verse clearly states that the Messiah will be called "Mighty God," which is a title that only God can possess.

In conclusion, while Jehovah's Witnesses believe that Jesus is a created being, Bible verses such as John 1:1, Colossians 1:15-17, John 10:30, and Isaiah 9:6 indicate that Jesus is indeed equal to God and co-eternal with Him. It's important to study the Bible with an open mind and consider all the verses to fully understand the trinitarian doctrine of Jesus as the son of God and to avoid misinterpretation.

In Jude 9 Michael said, "The Lord ( kyrios) rebuke you." In 1 Corinthians 8:6 we know there is one Lord (kyrios). So how can Michael be the Lord (kyrios) when he is appealing to the Lord (kyrios) to do the rebuking of the devil?
