Hi everyone.....some bad news today....both me and Alex have tested positive for covid 🤦🏻‍♀️ after a week off myself with laryngitis i now find myself in the situation where I am having to cancel all appointments for this week provisionally, as we certainly do not want to bring covid to you all.
We will be daily testing and I will update you all each day as to how we are getting in via Facebook, so please keep an eye out for updates.
Deepest apologies for having to cancel you all, but needs must to keep you all safe.
If you send your payment over via automatic banking then please ensure that this is cancelled for your appointment this week for now, until we know when we are clear.
Thank you all for your understanding and patience regarding the past week and this week coming.

Hi guys... gentle reminder that we require payment for your cleans either on the day of, or the next day after the clean. It's becoming increasingly common for me to have to chase payments upto a week after cleans have been completed. Not only is this a nightmare for keeping up to date, but also when it comes to accounting. Can I please ask that everyone make sure their payments are up to date and on time. Many thanks.🙂

This research published today in the telegraph makes good reading. It's a stark reminder that covid is very much still in our community.
As you are all aware, our policy is not to attend if you have a covid case at your home. But we also ask that you notify us if you, or anyone in your household has had contact with someone who is positive.
Notifying us of a possible infection, taking daily lateral Flow tests and isolation rules are the keys to keeping us all well.
Staff at domestic goddess are still taking twice weekly lateral Flow tests, and taking other precautions to ensure we keep you safe.
We will always notify our clients should we come into contact with a positive case.

So guys, I wanted to let you know about my recent goings on, I have decided that the business should sponsor a local charity.

It is so worth giving back to your community, and I've spent a while trying to figure out who I'm going to sponsor.

Pre warning you, the content of this post is good, but it may upset those of you who have experienced child loss.

I saw a post on Facebook about a local charity called Wirral Wings . They were struggling financially and were kindly and very humbly asking for donations.

These guys are absolute angels! They make packs of bespoke clothing and gifts etc for families who have suffered an infant loss. These absolutely beautiful packs are full of tailored suits and dresses, keepsakes and knitted angels for the little one and the family to keep. Ensuring that the little one is beautifully dressed, and have a little teddy friend for their funeral, and the family have keepsakes to take with them.

Having so luckily never been in the situation where I have had to use these services, I can only imagine the comfort it brings to the families, at what must be the most aweful time. I have however, known close friends and relatives who have lost, and with my previous jobs in funeralcare, you will all understand that this is something that is close to my heart.

So I would ask. Please, if you can, take a look at their page (link below), and see the wonderful items they make and deliver. And possibly even make a donation?? Domestic Goddess Cleaning will be sponsoring the charity for the foreseeable to ensure they can continue to provide such a worthy service.

I'm talking about anything from ironing, to full laundry cleaning, drying ironing and folding.

Would be looking at a 48 hour turn around, collect, launder/iron and deliver.
