Where is the time going??
Here's a bit of a catch up...

At Newton House Care Home - Barchester Healthcare the residents enjoyed painting and decorating, their spooky tea light Jars for Halloween 🎃 and colouring some pumpkins 🎃.

I think they all have done a fantastic job!

Creative art and crafts are so beneficial for the residents well-being.

Well done everyone.

At this time of year, the nights are drawing in and it's a time to remember all of thoes who we have lost.

At Hickathrift House Care Home - Barchester Healthcare the residents made some beauitful Poppy Plaques in rememberence, which will be displayed in their home. They also decorated two lamps with poppy images which will be auctioned.

I think you would agree that the residents did a lovely job.

Look at these! They are brilliant!

These little cuties are now live on the website.

They make a lush "not in your face" Christmas decorations. Each section has been carefully hand cut, shaped, sanded and painted and then carefully assembled.

You can grab them as the pair or individually 🎄

Autumn has crept upon us with beautiful reds and brown leaves on the trees🍂

Working with Amy Loose and the
children from a Home Education group in West Norfolk, the children decorated some small dishes and a coaster using paint and wonderful Autumn 🍂 images.

I believe, that engaging in creativity is so important, it's not just about learning new skills but how it impacts on our overall well-being and it doesn't matter what age you are.

It's getting very spooky over at Briar House Care Home 👻 🧙‍♀️ 😱 👀

Today the residents enjoyed making some witches cauldrons 🧙‍♀️ in preparation of their Halloween activities 🎃

We had lots of great conversation, laughter and lovely cuppa!

This was a bit different but very enjoyable.
If you can recycle ♻️ a piece of furniture its brilliant.

We have had a lot of great times and met some lovely people at their networking events.
We're here to help the wonderful staff where we can.

THE WAREHOUSE | Genuinely devastated for David, Rob and the team at The Warehouse in Setch. For those that didn’t know they had a catastrophic fire last night which has destroyed their kitchen and impacted surrounding rooms. With us having an excellent relationship with these guys over the last few years I feel it only right to try and help out in any small way we can. I know insurance will help cover some of the costs involved, but the stress, headaches, loss of income and impact to staff will never be recovered. As such over the weekend we’ll have a little collection pot on the counter. Any change you can spare will go directly to supporting the monumental task they’ve got in-front of them. 🙏 On top of that we’ll also match every pound raised ourselves!

Christmas is not far away and the residents at dovecourt.com wanted to get ahead in preparation of their Christmas Market.

We all enjoyed decorating coasters using Paint and Decoupage and a selection of lovely napkins, including a few Christmassy ones 😀 and adding a little bit of sparkle, of course! ✨️

This is a good way the care home can raise funds.

They all turned out lovely and very different. I think they will make lovely Christmas gifts.

Gratitude 43 (New Life through Art) is also doing Wedding crafts....

I was commissioned by a dear friend to design table place settings for their wedding breakfast.

As a lot of their guests were musicians the bride wanted something using 7inch vinyl records! 🎶 🎵

I do like a challenge and I am to pleased make your dream a reality with just a little bit of imagination ❤️

Yesterday afternoon the next creative workshop was at Hickathrift House Care Home - Barchester Healthcare.

The workshop was a little bit different, however, we still used Paint and Decoupage adding 'New Life' to two old tables.

The gentleman's club prepared the tables and the ladies craft club decorated them.

The ladies chose their own images and I think you would agree the tables came out exceptionally well!

We all had a lot of fun and the ladies really enjoyed the experience.

Yesterday was a fun packed day with back to back workshops.

The residents at Rose Lodge Care Home - Barchester Healthcare got very creative making beautiful animal autumn 🍂 plaques. Notice how individual they are, which makes them all that little bit more special.

Even when the residents are just sticking pieces down. they have to really think about what they are doing. Which is very good for them.

The autumn 🍂 season brings such beautiful colours and feelings of being cosy with a lovely hot drink in your hands.
Autumn also inspires such beautiful crafts to be made.

At dovecourt.com care home, the residents enjoyed decorating ramekin dishes with amazing autumn napkins, which will be used as table decorations, with wonderful Autumn flowers in.

One of the residents asked me to make a box to put their ramekin dish in, they wanted to give it to a member of staff for a wedding present. ❤️
How lovely is that.

When I prepare my Creative Workshops I like the craft to be useful to be displayed in the home, to be used or given as a gift and the residents get a lot of fun engaging with the activitivities.

❤️ Custom love heart signs ❤️

These newbies are just adorable! Whether you have a grandparent who you need a gift for? Or your little one drew a love heart that you want to treasure forever? They make great little Christmas gifts (🙈 yes I said the C word)

The love hearts are made from a lovely piece of walnut wood and are a lovely dark colour. They come on an off-white backer with an oak frame. You can also have as many hearts as you want!

They will be going live tomorrow night at 8pm once I've got molly into bed!
