Please be advised that from April the 5th 2024 there will be a price increase. I have kept my prices down for as long as I can but due to products/equipment/water/electric/minimum wage going up and many more overheads rising I have no choice but to increase grooming costs. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and I’m looking forward to seeing you and your pooches soon.

Great before and after for my only Brussels Griffon on the books what a beauty 😍

Managed to make some time to groom my own dogs for a change. Indie had been desperate to give all her practice to use on our lovely boy sid and did a wonderful job on him. I'm ridiculously proud of her he was a serious scruff bag and too old now to hand strip, so we've taken to clipping him to to keep him looking smart prepped clipped and scissored all by her with guidance but all by her hands 😊

So satisfying, much cooler for a good shedding❤️

Hello everyone there have been a few changes recently . I'm now working from a new location which is

And I'm in the process of having a new logo and name change I will be called

"Dog Grooming by Carly" new logo will be ready to see in the next few days.

I have been intouch with lots of my customers who have bookings to make sure everyone is happy to travel to Dunster but do still have people to contact and will be intouch in the next few days .

Firstly I'd like to wish you all a very happy and healthy new year 😊.

Due to the ever increasing costs of running a small business I have made a few changes.

Cancellations.
Your dog's grooming appointment is reserved specifically for you. Therefore i ask that you notify me at least 48 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. I understand certain things happen but I am afraid that i can no longer make any exceptions. If you fail to make the cancellation deadline you will need to pay the full grooming price.

No shows.
If you do not show up without giving any notice you will be charged your full grooming price. If this is not paid I am afraid another appointment can not be made with Exmoor dog Grooming until the fee is paid.

Lates.
We can all be running late at times and I try my best to carry out your groom however please understand one late appointment puts me behind all day . If you are running late please call and let me know however 15 minutes after your appointment time I will be unable to carry out your dog's groom this will be classed as a no show which incurs a full grooming price.

Matting.
If excessive matting is found, I may have to clip the coat completely. This WILL NOT be done without prior consent from you the owner in writing or via a message . Exmoor Dog Grooming WILL NOT be held responsible for any health problems which may occur in relation to this procedure being carried out or by any conditions that may occur due to owner’s neglect. Additional fees may be incurred due to this procedure being carried out. This will be predetermined at the time of inspection of your dog.

Fleas.
An additional charge of £15 on top of the groom.

I ask if you have a problem with the groom, that I am contacted within 48 hours to resolve the issue , and prior to any negative reviews been left on social media.

Well sadly Christmas photos have come to an end thank you once again for continuing to support me , I've been thoroughly spoilt by all you wonderful people and very much look forward to seeing you all next year .

So customers ,friends and family always ask what my favourite breed to groom is ?. I can't ever answer this because all the dogs that come for there grooms all hold a special place in my heart . This little lady has the biggest personality I literally can't stop smiling whilst grooming her luscious coat. This job is hard work but so rewarding 🐕 ✂️ ❤️

And so next years appointments have begun block bookings are underway .
