Splitting into small groups, we picked along the Coast Path into Garden City & towards Thornwell. Also worked the roads around Bulwark and the shops.
A total of 2 orange bags of general litter 4 bags of plastic/cans and a few glass bottles.

We covered quite a lot of ground, including the link road, the rugby club and Bulwark shops. Altogether we collected 7 bags of plastic and cans for recycling, 8 bags of general waste and 2 of glass.
Many thanks to all the volunteers and to Bulwark Community Centre for providing a nice warm space for coffee and mince pies afterwards.

Perfect weather for the 8 adults & 2 children who met at Tenby Lane car park for a spot of urban litter picking on Saturday morning.
Splitting into groups we once again tackled the streets around the Caerwent Tunnel and Thornwell. The wooded area off Lewis Way was relatively litter free apart from the usual 'grot spot' which revealed a considerable quantity of glass bottles, cans & plastic..the most collected in this single spot over many years that the group has worked this area.
Totals..5 purple bags of plastic/cans, 4 bags of general litter & 7 bags of glass!.
Thanks again to everyone who turned up to help. Our final pick of 2023 will be on Saturday 25 November meeting at Bulwark Community Centre.
