“Hope you won’t be late doing our supper?!?”

New steel toe cap boots. Essential for someone always getting her toes in the goats way, especially when they jump off the milking stand ! 🙄

Homemade soft goats cheese with Greek olive oil and mint- delicious!
Our milk also makes great Greek yoghurt and kefir. Try making some- it’s not difficult!

Iris knocked the scab off the disbudding so I sprayed to dry it up quickly. She moved when she heard the spray and now she looks like Braveheart! 🙄

Kokomo had two girls around midnight. They are far more lively than I’m feeling right now!
Only the second middle of the night birth ever!

Another (new) super happy customer this week. Loving the milk for the great taste but also for allergies, skin and generally feeling better. What makes me so happy is that this is a young lad who is very aware about what’s good for him and he arrived on his bicycle. If he’s the future then there is something good ahead. ❤️

Daffodil and Damson plotting their next move. Possibly the loudest, mischievous, demanding kids I’ve ever had!!

We are very pleased to welcome Wilowriver Arctic and her daughter Chilli to Maycottage- they’re the white ones. They are settling in just fine and Arctic is contributing well to the milk supply!

The kids were penned away from, but next to mum, for the first time last night. They weren’t too pleased this morning and mum even less so. When she’d finished her breakfast, but I hadn’t finished milking her, she threw the bucket out and took apart the bag with used udder wipes. I’m sure things will improve as time goes on! 🤞

I will have raw goatsmilk too!
