Available in my shop Pins & Needles Devizes, just £1.50 if you buy the yarn as specified, which is King Cole's Big Value 50g, you need white (maybe two balls), yellow, and three other colours. It's £1.25 per ball so you'll get a couple of metres of bunting for well under a tenner with enough change for a bag of chips! Fabulous!

An update folks..... it would seem that despite having several excellent years at the Carlton in Bournemouth, their events manager has lost interest in me! I've spoken to him three times as well as e-mailed and three times and in reply to e-mails he has promised to get a room rate over to me..... Nothing, zilch, nada....

I'm going to try one more time but then I'll be looking for a different venue. Rest assured though that we'll do something for such a special occasion!

I've been in touch with the hotel in Bournemouth, who are going to send me some prices for a Woolly Weekender Lite to celebrate the Big Pins Party next January. Yes, the last weekend in January we'll be celebrating me having Pins & Needles in Devizes for ten whole years!

I thought I'd sold out of this yarn but I've just found five balls! Was over £8 when it was in the shop, was reduced to £6.50 but you can have it now for just a fiver a ball. They are big balls as well, 200g each!

I'm working on a different way of presenting my hand-dyed yarns.... I know some of you will love this!

This particular one is a blend of mohair and merino, all British. It's from the Wet Wednesday collection (more of that later) and I've called it "New Forest." They are £20 per 100g, ought to be more but alas I can't tell you the metreage - but it'll be somewhere between 350m and 400m.

The Wet Wednesday collection happened one day a few months ago, it was dreary and wet and very quiet in the shop. I was crocheting a blanket with scraps and every now and then there came a very pleasing colour combination. So rather than be inspired by something and creating the colourway, I've done it the other way round and named the colours for what they made me think of. Also, on that particular day, hubby was on a charity bike ride in...... yes the New Forest.

Love these? You'll need to be patient because they are not for sale until Yarnstravaganza at the end of September - then they'll be in my shop Pins & Needles Devizes 😊😊😊

Forgot to say, the amazing base yarn was from the even more amazing Frances at New Forest Mohair :-D

Last week I hosted Italian Night at Pins & Needles Devizes. It was a really good night! It pushed me a little (a lot!) to finishing the sample garments I'd started. Here they are on display in the shop, where you can now buy all the ingredients to make your own :-)

Phew, that was a close one! I've just managed to get this pattern finished in time for tomorrow's Italian Night at Pins & Needles Devizes :-D

Some floof I'm having fun with - this is a blend of merino with trilobal nylon, which gives it a glossy shimmer. I like it!

Ahh the gift that keeps on giving! Josie treated herself to a workshop and not only does she have two gorgeous new tops but we have a fantastic photo of a gi-normous cat looking very relaxed indeed :-D

Just in time for international cat day!

Josie went to Vixter's hexi jumper/cardi workshop and has not only made a cardi but a gorgeous jumper. As you can see, the jumper very definitely has the cat's seal of approval, he clearly finds it super-cosy!

We are very much looking forward to seeing Josie in her new outfits; we'd love to see the cat too but I guess he wouldn't be too amenable to coming along. And yes, he's huge - it's not a baby garment! What a gorgeous boy!
