Sports Massage and what to expect during treatment -
I always start my treatments using the Theragun to warm the muscles up.
I use my hands and work through deep tissue Massage, as well at working on trigger points.
I will then use either my blade to work through some tough areas or I use the cup to finish off both aiding Myofascial release.
I base all of the above on your pain threshold. Sports Massage shouldnβt be βpainfulβ but at times can be uncomfortable. I talk to you throughout asking how the pressure is and working of a scale of 1-10. Ideally never reaching 10! ππ

Sn**ches havenβt always been my fave lift, I struggled for a long time to drop under the bar and would get stuck at certain weights. I spent an extra day a week going through complexes, drills and re watching my videos 10000 x over in slow mo analysing every tiny bit and watching videos of professional lifters until I started to make good break throughs with the lift! Still lots to learn and improvements to be made but I can say they are my fave π

When to book an appointment-
Donβt leave it too late to book! If you are starting to feel tight/ sore try and stretch it out and book in, donβt wait for the discomfort to get unbearable that it effects your day to day life / training ππΌ
Get the problem sorted quickly, the longer itβs left the more work that is required to fix the problem.
Guess whatβ¦β¦ after your massage you need to rest those muscles at least 24 hours!!! Donβt go and train straight after, you will only un do all the work that has been done and it would be a waste of your money π¬ so make sure you book your appointment when you donβt have to train straight after πͺπΌππΌ
