What a fantastic day, celebrating a phenomenal year at CRC! Yesterday we all got the chance to pause and reflect on the work we do to transform lives!
It was a superb day, bringing together the WeAreCRC team for the Staff Conference, Awards and WeAreCRC Games. Staff competed in teams in the games, or took part in wellbeing activities in the morning, all leading up to the main event, the staff conference and awards where we:
๐ Heard from students sharing their messages of thanks to tutors, support workers and staff for the impact they have had on their lives
๐ Celebrated the many, many, highlights from across the college from World Record setting students, to sector awards and accolades to the fantastic work our students and staff do for our local communities - what a year!
๐ Recognised the inspiring work of the college team with the 2024 Staff Awards; nominated and voted on by students and staff.
Here's to the team! ๐๐๐

June was a busy month for the Early Years students, with guest speakers coming in to talk to them.
Tracy Hutchison, the owner of Beach Babies, gave a talk on working in the early years industry. She said: โI really enjoyed my time talking with the students about the day-to-day issues of working in early years. They were all engaging and asked and answered questions which I hope will help them as they move towards the end of their qualifications.
โIt was as interesting for me to hear directly from the student about their own experiences with their employers and I hope that some of the information and advice I gave will help them in their career choices.โ
