Handmade tools, artifacts and jewellery for the spiritually minded. The same priciple goes for any animal parts that I use.
My name is Dan and I am a craftsman who takes reclaimed, unwanted, or found materials and works them into items of beauty, practicality or both. By applying my knowledge, techniques and a bit of skill I take the unwanted items of this world and change them into desirable objects that (I hope) may be admired for many years to come by the beautiful people who still care for our Earth. I generally wo
rk with metal, but also incorporate almost any other material I come across including leather, wood, bone and a few man-made materials. My Ethics:
I will only ever use wood that has naturally fallen or has been felled for conservation reasons.......I will never cut living wood from a tree or plant. I never use any bone, fur, horn etc that has come from an animal that has been hunted for such things. All of the animal parts I use are either found or given to me by animal welfare groups, even in death I treat the animal with the utmost respect. All of the leather I use is either second hand or would otherwise be heading for a landfill site. Much of my inspiration comes from the symbols and beliefs of Paganism, the spiritually enlightened and nature, and this is reflected and strengthened by the use of reclaimed materials.
