Great day at the first ever Primary School Dryslope Champs yesterday at Bearsden!

There were some amazing individual performances from members of all three local clubs, and out of 33 schools taking part, 2 of the top 3 were from the North East!

Congratulations to Cults Primary, 1st and Aboyne Primary, 3rd 🙌

It's fair to say North East ski racing is in great shape!!

The Lecht is our on-snow home and has played an enormous part in our Club. We were delighted to have a successful winter - contrary to the snow - where the man-made Snow factory snow allowed us to deliver 13 out of 15 planned coaching days, 2 events and enable 3 local Primary schools to get 2 days each on-snow! Providing meaningful coaching and opportunities for as many people as possible to enjoy the slopes.

Let's be a part of the adventure together and help the Lecht go on into the future.

“The Headlines are true – We need your help”

We have launched a funding campaign as times are difficult. The team at the Lecht have always, and will always, continue to work incredibly hard. During the summer months the preparations continue for the season ahead. From lift maintenance, equipment servicing, to waxing skis, and maintaining the buildings, these all need to be done before the snow arrives.

This becomes significantly harder coming off the back of such a poor winter season, and we have to look at ways to raise enough funds to ensure we survive through the summer when we have little income. The money raised will go directly to cover ongoing maintenance and servicing costs, to ensure that we can open next season.

Therefore we are asking anyone who has ever come to the Lecht and enjoyed what the Lecht exists for, to donate the cost of a lift pass to help us survive and give more people the opportunity to enjoy snow sports next season.

We have some great news for the coming Easter weekend. Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday we will be including equipment hire with our lift passes so why not use this opportunity to try something new!

Tomorrow (Saturday 23rd) is also our final day of on-snow coaching this season, can you believe it's our 13th day out of 15 planned! We are hugely grateful to all our members for persevering and staying stoked for snow, also thank you to the Lecht 2090 for all the support this season making magic happen with limited resources, we have made use of every last flake of snow to great effect, and the kids skiing and snowboarding has progressed enormously. It just shows what is possible with even just a limited snow slope
