Just got engaged!

One of our amazing mixologists, Camilla, who has been with Kampai for more than 7 years, just got engaged!

If you’ve been lucky enough you may have enjoyed some of her delicious cocktails but sometimes great chapters come to an end and now she will be relocating to Richmond Virginia in the States with her fiancé.

She actually met her fiancé through Kampai: he was a guest at a house party we catered a few years ago.

So that’s a wrap! We have done 122 parties in 2023- weddings, birthday parties, garden parties, hen parties, corporate events and all sorts! This was our 10th year and around 35% of parties we do these days are repeat customers so we must be doing a decent job!

Ryu Okada from Kampai Cocktails was one of the 7 Japanese bartenders who hosted a bar takeover “Japan Night” at London Cocktail Week the other day.

The venue was packed, everyone loved the cocktails and all the cocktails were sold out!

There were some of the industry’s legends in the crowd as well and we had such a great evening!

Next Monday (16th October) founder of Kampai Cocktails (also founder of Wicker Basket ) Ryu Okada will be hosting a bar takeover evening “Japan Night” for this year’s London Cocktail Week.

Along with 6 elite Japanese bartenders who all work in top London venues, they will be serving a collection of spectacular cocktails for one night only, using the original Japanese spirit Shochu as a base and Japanese style and craftsmanship.

This is the first authentic Japanese cocktail bar night in the rich history of London Cocktail Week, so don’t miss out on this rare opportunity and come and say “Kampai!” (Cheers in Japanese) over a few delicious drinks.
