You might think that artists have the best job in the world and in many respects they do but there's a lot more to making a living as an artist than sitting in a studio painting pretty pictures!
This Wednesday, 17th July, from 2.30 to 4.30pm, local artists Helen Rhodes and Kate Gibbs (both previously featured in Village Life) will be giving a talk about their creative careers at Woodhouse Eaves Village Hall.

Huge news!!! We are incredibly pleased to announce that this years Rise of the Phoenix race will be supported by Phoenix Vets 🐦‍🔥 Loughborough!!! Phoenix will have a stand at the race with goodies, a raffle, offering advice and support as well as a specific dog water station at the top hill (we will still have water at each mile marker as well as sheltered dog pools at the end as well!) AND being there for onsite medical support should any of our furry friends!!!
Another reason to sign up to this epic race.. Our Story

The Quorndon Village Life is a quarterly, 80pp A4, full colour publication that is delivered free of charge to all homes and business' throughout Quorn. Copies are also delivered to most homes and business' in Newtown Linford, Old Woodhouse, Rothley Plain, Swithland, Cropston and Woodthorpe. Published by a small group of dedicated enthusiasts, the magazine was established in 1995.
