In June, Isis House was buzzing with exciting activities! 💙🌟

To name a few, we got prepared for our gardening competition with family members joining to help, ad delightful performances by Musicians and even had a visit from Zoology, who came to visit with some exotic reptiles which our residents really enjoyed!

We also had a lovely coffee morning and invited the community Police Officers to join us and chat with our residents.

Moorside place welcomed and congratulated Zoe on completion of the Care Certificate. Welcome to the team Zoe! 👏🌟

We are thankful everyday for our team at Orchard Meadows. We enjoyed a beautiful "thank you" lunch supplied by the Trust!

(For those on night shift, we got in a Mcdonald's!).

Brenda enjoyed a scooter driving lesson from Alf. Brenda is enjoying some freedom, thanks to Alf for the lessons, and the L plates. Brenda says she's been around Oxlip House quite a few times and is benefitting from the sunshine.

Oxlip House care team enjoyed a team lunch from Waitrose, provided by The Orders of St John Care Trust as part of the annual Wellness month!

Pauline Ximines, Domiciliary Carer at Shotover View was presented with her 10 year long service award on Tuesday. Pauline was presented her award by Chiannon Evans, Domiciliary Care Manager. Pauline has worked at Shotover View since February 2014.

Natalie, carer from Oxlip house, attended the Buckingham Palace garden party after being nominated by the Trust for all her hard work with activities and events she arranges for our clients.

Natalie took her mum as her guest and they had a lovely time. It was also special as it was her birthday week. Well done Natalie you thoroughly deserved this recognition. 💙👏

Thank you to Natalie for this lovely display at Oxlip house for Dementia Action week. Natalie has planned an afternoon tea on 15th June to raise money for Dementia UK, Alzheimer's society, Maire Curie and Oxlip house amenities' fund! 💙👏

We were delighted to award Becky her completed care certificate and badge this mornin! I think you'll agree Becky looks over the moon receiving it with a huge smile. Welcome to the team here at Orchard Meadows.

We are very proud to announce that Albie has successfully completed his Level 2 Health and Social Care. Albie has been with Moorside Place since October 2020 and is a valued member of the team. Albie worked very hard to achieve his award and we wish him all the best for Level 3 which he has now started.

Oxlip House client, Ted, has welcomed some new life on his balcony. Ted has been watching a Collared dove nesting in his flower box for a while and is delighted to see that the eggs have hatched & he has 2 babies. 🐣

We had a lovely visit at Moorside place from PCSO Chelsea and PCSO Harvey! They came to the Making Memories café to talk about the Herbet protocol and learn more about the admiral nurses and dementia Oxfordshire.

Everyone loves a wedding, so when Yanines daughter was getting married today she wanted to attend with the support from Shannon, a care assistant from Moorside place.

We all agree Yanine looked amazing for her daughters big day. 💙 🌻

A raffle also took place and great fun was had by all!
