It's been lovely to return to live classes! Every Monday night at 6pm, we have a general yoga class at The Scout Hut, 38 Holtwood Road, Sheffield S4 7BA. On Wednesdays, there is the Nurture Class - a blend of gentle yoga, Feldenkrais and mindful meditation. This class is ideal for anyone who would like an hour of gentle stretching and flexibility combined with some quiet, stress reducing practice. 10.30-11.30am at Abbeyfield House, Abbeyfield Park, Sheffield S4 7AT. Dianne here...From Wednesday 19th May at 10.30 -11.30am, there will be a new gentle yoga class at Abbeyfield House, Abbeyfield Park, S4 7AT. "Nurture" is an hour of gentle yoga, mindful meditation and Feldenkrais. It is especially designed for anyone who may be experiencing a challenging health condition or long term injury or simply wants a gentle class that soothes the mind and body. Very happy to say that tomorrow (Monday) will be return to a live yoga class in Burngreave! Yoga for Health & Happiness is back from 6-7pm, this time at the Scout Hut, 38 Holtwood Road, Sheffield S4 7BA. We will be gently easing our way back into face to face classes so these will be small classes and we will observe social distancing. Please bring your own mat or you can buy a cleaned, second-hand mat from me (PM before class if you want one). New yoga and Feldenkrais classes in the schedule now!

I've just added a whole schedule of workshops and classes to my Acuity booking system. As we move out of lockdown, I'm very happy to offer live classes and - for the time being - a Saturday workshop where you can choose to join via zoom or be there in person. On 17th May, the Government restrictions will allow indoor exercise to re-start and this means that I can offer a "live" class once again! We will re-start the Monday 6-7pm yoga class and our new venue will be the Scout Hut, 38 Holtwood Road, S4 7BA. It will be lovely to see you in person again but because numbers are still limited, I can only take 6 people in the class. The only fair way to manage this is by setting up a class by class booking in my Acuity booking system. Here's the link: https://MIndfulBodyclasses.as.me/?appointmentType=22359237
You will need to book each class and I'll operate it as a "first come, first served" basis. Once 6 people are booked on, you will have to go to the next available slot.
Due to Covid restrictions, you will need to bring your own yoga mat or - if necessary - you can buy a second-hand mat for £3. These mats have been cleaned and come individually bagged. Please message me if interested.

From Wednesday 21 April, there will be a new class every Wednesday from 10.30-11.30am. "Nurture" is an hour of gentle yoga, mindful meditation and Feldenkrais. It is especially designed for anyone who may be experiencing a challenging health condition or long term injury. The class will be online until 12th May and then from 19th May, "live" classes will be in the new community room at Abbeyfield House.
If you're not sure about joining a group class, I also do individual sessions - again it's online at the moment, but will be going "live" in May. Sometimes people choose to do a couple of individual sessions and then join a class. This is useful if you are dealing with injury or in recovery.

Dear friends and yogis, I know that many people enjoyed the Monday yoga class at The Welcome Centre and for some of you, switching to zoom classes during the last year has been fine. For others, online classes were not an option. BUT…change is on its way!
Following current Government guidelines, live classes cannot start until 17th May at the earliest and then the group sizes are likely to be restricted to 6 people only in a class. I know how important your yoga class has been in helping you stay fit and cope with the anxieties of the last year so, can you now please help me? I want to plan the next phase of classes that meet people's needs. I've created a Doodle Poll that sets out the different options for classes. The Monday online class from 6-7pm and the Relaxation Class from 7-7.30pm will continue as usual until Easter so if you want to join in, please message me. I will take a much needed break from 5-9 April. There will be a block of four online yoga classes from 12th April - 10 June (3rd May is a Bank Holiday).

Happy International Women's Day! Tonight we will be celebrating with some Goddess poses and some heart warming relaxation.
