A few driveway signs recently completed. All the signs are 500mm x 200mm oak boards, mounted on 45mm square oak posts with a diamond top, using mortice and tenon joinery. All edges on the posts are subtly rounded over, and the sign has a bevelled edge top and bottom, front and back. The lettering is v-carved using either a 60 or 90 degree v bit to give it a really nice hand carved look that will last. Lettering available painted black (or other colour) or natural, and any font is available. Finished for outdoor use with Osmo Poly-X 420 UV Protection Extra Wax\Oil mix. Contact me for more details.

I haven't updated in a while as it's been a tricky start to the year personally so I haven't been updating regularly at all, but I wanted to share some pictures of a ladder sign that was delivered to a customer last month for himself, and his neighbours, collective group of houses. All made using European oak and finished with Osmo PolyX 420, with the lettering painted in weatherproof black paint. Signs are mortice and tenoned to the posts. Posts are 45mm square, and the signs are 600mm x 140mm.

One of our V-Carved house signs in place. Made from 400mm x 200mm x 22mm thick air dried oak. Lettering v carved and painted in black, and the sign treated for outdoor use with Osmo 420 UV Protection wax\oil mix. Keyhole slots on the back for ease of hanging, without the fixtures\screws showing.
These signs are available at 300mm, 400mm, 500mm, 600mm, and 700mm widths. The lettering can be painted in any colour or left natural. Images or logos can be carved too.

A commercial ladder sign completed for a customer recently. For more details see the posts below.

A number of ladder signs that were completed recently for three different customers. All made using air dried oak, mortice and tenoned to 45mm thick posts. All with v carved, painted lettering. Finished using my favourite Osmo PolyX 420 UV Protection wax\oil mix.

Standing at 120cm tall, these are available with between 2-4 signs and are suitable for private and commercial use.

New Product - Driveway\House Sign with Posts. This sign was made from beech to go with the name 'Beech Lodge', however the sign can be made from any timber. This sign measures around 45cm wide x 65cm tall, with 4cm square thick posts. The posts feature a decorative 45 degree chamfer along the top, as does the top and bottom of the sign. The lettering is cut using a 60 degree v-bit to give a lovely, deep, carved look that will never fade. The lettering is painted black, but can also be left unpainted too, or painted in another colour entirely. The sign is then finished using Osmo Poly-X 410 UV Protection Wax\Oil mix.
