We are so sad to hear about the death of Simon Horvat-Marcovic.
Simon was dedicated to making the world a better place. He gave his time to so many charities and did a huge amount to improve the lives of others living with HIV including as The Food Chain's Santa and by tackling HIV stigma as one of our Positive Voices speakers. Simon also worked as a Peer Mentor for Positively UK and was a UK-CAB member.
“I first met him in 2018 when we were both involved in service user involvement at Terrence Higgins Trust,” said our Positive Voices Manager, Eugene Lynch.
“He had a wealth of experience of activism to share and volunteered for many HIV organisations. Later, we worked together on Positive Voices. He will be missed.”
Simon will be remembered for his invaluable contributions – the HIV community won’t be the same without him.
Rest in peace, Simon.
