So Going through some references to draw draw I found this one of which was great, obviously, good looking guy and a good photographer 👍🏼 so did something with it, I love how it turned out, the idea of the black feathers and gold just came as I was drawing it and I won’t explain the idea behind it, best just come up with your own theory, much more fun 👍🏼

I used a 2B pencil, mechanical pencil, eraser, and gold paint, on whatever a3 paper I had and I’ve had it so long i don’t know what it is

I’m getting the Basocs down, the background, the positioning, I can’t wait to fine tune and make it look realistic/detailed

Working on The Violet Piece

I’m really enjoying this one, i worked on changing the skin colour a little with pan pastels and then pencil, it’s changed a lot but has a long way to go, I’m just blocking in the rough colours and pattern on the left side at the moment but I can’t wait to make the fabric looks realistic and draw all the little individual threads etc, and the Amethyst crystal spider on the bottom right corner looks amazing in my head, we will see how that turns out 😂

Time to add another queen to my collection, violet work in progress, because we all know this is the No.1 look from the franchise, it was perfection. It was the Bone crown merging into the head/skull for me ❤️

“Astrea - Pluto” Small sketch for a set of oil paintings I’m Starting, I haven’t posted in a while, I went through a really long period of not knowing what i wanted to draw or what i wanted to say with my art, and not really liking anything i drew so didn’t want people to see it so I didn’t post it, I lose followers when I don’t post for long periods but I also lose followers when I post anything at all so, if im going to share something I may as well be proud of it.

It’s not about followers it’s more the feeling of battling for days or weeks mentally to get to a point where you can create, just for it to be received negatively.

Onwards I will continue drawing my dog portraits, commissions, drag queens, celebs, and the sirens but

I’m starting a series ive wanted to, and had the idea for, for years since before covid, a set of oil paintings themed around something I won’t say, because the element of mystery and using your own imagination is more exciting than me spelling it out, but they are original, at least, im not drawing someone or something from a reference photo.

To all those who have stayed following my progress thank you, and I’m sorry I haven’t been putting out much art, it can’t be forced, well it can, and I did force it, but the results aren’t worth it.

Astrea - Pluto, Small sketch for a Set of Oil Paintings I’m starting

I Decided to stop working on commisions, be poor and skint, and invest time, and money on oil paint and a huge canvas and finally start a set of paintings I’ve had in my head for at least 3 years, i have every confidence it will turn out amazing, but I’m also ready for the worst to avoid disappointment, if I Can get the painting to This point after 2 days working on it, it
