Change is possible: we all deserve a fair deal
I am standing to be your next MP: to represent your interests in Westminster and to restore confidence in politics
Let’s start to look at the wider picture…. Isn’t it time for a change, a shake up of politics as we know it?
It looks most likely that we'll be heading to an October or November election and not soon enough. Our country needs democracy and accountability and that's why I have chosen to stand for Parliament, to represent the good people of Dumfries and Galloway and ensure we get our fair share out of the Westminster pot.
We've seen the SNP tear themselves apart and leave a mountain of debt and poorly managed projects such as £14m spent on plans for a strongly opposed national social care, £500m on ferries to name but two.
We need change from the tired Tories in Westminster, the Squabbling SNP in Holyrood and that change can come from the Liberal Democrats.
Over the next few months I'll be setting out my plans and our party policies to make a fairer, kinder and responsible society. We'd love you to join us and volunteer to help deliver leaflets, knocking on doors, helping organise local party events and even donating to our very limited campaign budget. I'm afraid we've not go the fighting funds of the Tories and Labour but together we can make change happen. I would love you to join me on making that change happen.
Let's get some stability in our lives.... this turmoil has to STOP
Setting up my new page. Are you ready for change, please come and join me and let's do politics in a more civilised way.
