With lots of free time during the summer school holidays it can be harder to know what young people are up to. These may be signs that someone is involved in County Lines:

🏠 Been missing from home for a long period of time
👫 Started hanging around with new friends
🚑 Unexplained injuries
😥 Change in behaviour

The sudden, unexpected death of a baby or child is one of the most devastating things that can happen to a family. It also triggers a ‘Joint Agency Response’ which can last 12mth or more, involving many professionals. No family should have to face these difficult and unfamiliar experiences alone.
-
Our bereavement support helpline* is open 365 days of the year, but we also have a free 50-page booklet to prepare you for what lies ahead. It contains information on who you’ll come into contact with and what investigations might need to take place. There are also stories and quotes from families who have already taken steps along this road.

If you or someone you know would benefit from this booklet, we invite you to download a free copy here: https://bit.ly/3Yzhfgs

Sextortion, also known as we**am blackmail, is a form of intimate image abuse – and it is a growing crime. It involves the threat of sharing images or videos – often ‘nudes’ or sexually explicit content – to extort money or force someone to do something against their will.

While anyone can be targeted, men are especially affected. Young people and young adults are also at greater risk.

Victim Support has more information about what sextortion is, how to report it, and how to find support if you are a victim: https://www.victimsupport.org.uk/crime-info/types-crime/sextortion/

Intimate image abuse is against the law. The Revenge P**n Helpline is a UK service supporting adults aged 18+ who are experiencing intimate image abuse, also known as revenge p**n: https://revengep**nhelpline.org.uk/
