Hi everyone,

In light of Swansea University’s Taliesin building hosting anti-trans speakers on March 8th, there by inviting this harmful rhetoric onto our campus and putting our trans students at risk, the LGBTQ+ and Socialist student societies have organised a protest against the event.

As a sport club of Swansea University who condemn any forms of discrimination, our committee will be attending the protest and encourage our members to come along as well if they feel comfortable in doing so. We’ve included here some information on safety during the protest and the Safe Space being held in Fulton House, kindly provided by

Trans women ARE woman. We hope to see you there!

We will shortly be running elections for next year's committee and here are the descriptions of each role available. We have added trip sec to make sure that we can get out diving more and maybe get more trips in. Please read the role descriptions, we would love to see some new faces apply and get more involved in the club. Being a committee member has many pros, it looks great on your CV, you can get involved in the behind the scenes of diving, free kit hire, captains cards for free entry to jacks and captains bar on a wednesday and to apply you must be a SUSAC member. The dates for application will be released soon so if you think one of these roles are for you, get started on a manifesto or if you and a friend fancy going for a role together most of these roles work best for having 2 members.🤿🌊🕺🏻💙

Poppy & Sam are going to Glynneath to finish some old OD training, and they're happy to DM any divers that want to come along to do a spot of underwater pumpkin carving! 🎃

You'll need to be a qualified diver with a checkout dive already completed, on account of the added use of stabby implements and both instructors being preoccupied while in water 🔪
