S*x Gang Children were a pioneering gothic rock band that formed in Great Britain in the early '80s. Very theatrical band, whose most outstanding characteristics were a powerful bass, tribal percussion, rapid changes of climate, a retro sound that anticipated by several years the birth of "dark cabaret" as a genre and one more of the several gothic singers who made a school with his dramatic vocal tone. Although in their classic era they only recorded a single album, their singles and other rarities were compiled into several compilations, which led them to cult status as one of the most recognized bands on the London Batcave scene.
