Hi all, sorry for the very delayed report from the Main Event!
First of all, we presented the award from the Easter Nationals, which was for the Best Package. This went to Bob Doyle with a 0.027 package! Nice one Bob.
Onto the Main Event, and number 1 off the trailer went to Mark Bailey running 0.0029 off his dial!
In the penultimate session Callum Swinchatt had a perfect ET to take the number 1 spot, running a 8.9204 on his 8.92 dial-in 👏
The big trophy was for best average reaction, it was very close, but consistency and no red-lights was key, which meant Tom Atkinson took it home! 🟢
Unfortunately due to weather, we only completed one full round, but this meant our Bounty Hunter award was available. It was on the head of Barry Giles, who faced Franz Aschenbrenner. Barry went red handing the win, the money and the packet of Bounties to Franz, congrats Franz and thanks for coming!
As no racing was completed, we don't have a bounty for this weekend's Summer Nationals. So we have decided to put it on Callum Swinchatt's head as the #1 qualifier. See you all there!

Hi all, a quick note from race control ahead of this weekend's FIA/FIM Main Event.
Can you please make sure your crew are signed on BEFORE the class is in the lanes and running. This saves a lot of time and rushing in the signing on office.
Please make it a priority when you arrive at the track and DO NOT leave it for when we are in the lanes for Q1.

So the 2024 season has started! It was great to be back at Santa Pod Raceway for the Easter Nationals.
We awarded a few 2023 trophies firstly. With Alan Didwell recieving the Peter Nee memorial trophy from 2022 winner Billy Gane. Secondly Barry Giles recieved his prize for taking out the National Finals bounty, Collin Morrice. Well done to both!
The first qualifying round of the season gave us our first 'Off the Trailer' medal winner (Medals made by Solo Precision, thanks Tom!) Scott Hauser came out swinging with a 7.412 on a 7.38 dial-in.
The #1 spot changed hands a few times during session two, but Scott managed to consolidate his spot with a 7.382 on a 7.38 to take home both medals! Congrats Scott 👏
The main trophy was for the event win. Scott tried his best to get a clean sweep, but a transbrake malfunction in the semis ended his run. It was Super Pro OG Barry Giles who took the honors, beating Collin Morrice in the final in a very close double-breakout race. Great job both!
The next event is in a few weeks and we can't wait to do it all over again! 🏁
