I created a little herb garden for the girls this afternoon, with 4 different chicken friendly herbs. Not that they cared as it wasn’t worms or broccoli, which they have literally become obsessed with 🐓 🥦 🤣 Chicken Rescue UK

As a fairly new collection point for Chicken Rescue UK I wanted to introduce ourselves and a few of the benefits our collection point offers.

We are in urgent need to find homes for 1200 Arlington White hens for a last minute rehome on 6th April 2024!

If you're looking to add to your flock with some funny, unique hens then look no further than Chicken Rescue UK to answer to the Chicken Signal! Much like the Bat Signal, it shines bright to help us find hens in trouble and we can jump into our Cluck Truck to race to the scene!

New requirements come into force 1st October for all birds/poultry to be registered 🐓

New mandatory registration requirements are to be implemented for bird keepers in Great Britain.

Under these rules, all bird owners are required to register their birds annually 🦆
This will help manage potential disease outbreaks like and keep your flock healthy 💚

By registering, owners will receive crucial updates and guidance for bird care.

Keepers need to follow these new requirements by 1 October 2024 📆

We opened our first ever collection point for Chicken Rescue UK today.

We received 20 hens today which have all gone to fabulous new homes.

Hens are full of personality and make sure great pets they are also a wonderful way to introduce children to learn valuable life lessons, responsibility and all about caring for animals.

We would like to thank all of the new rehomers today for taking home and caring for these gentle creatures. 🐓 💜
