Due to unforeseen circumstances we are closed until the 24th of August due to Dan testing positive for Corona virus and having to isolate for the next 10 days, we are taking the precautions to all isolate not only because of the the government guidelines but to protect our staff there family's and our customers we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Here's a set of custom colour changing headlights we did for Ricky's Astra VXR we did back in November 2020, we forgot to get pictures back when we did them but it's nice to see our customers returning to us for further work so we thought we would get a picture to share with you all while we had the chance!!

We retro fitted these L.E.D rings into the original headlights on the car we also then smoked the lenses aswell to give it a more aggressive look with our own in house tinting spray that has been formulated by ourselves.

These L.E.D upgrades are Bluetooth controlled so the colour can be changed via an app downloaded to the users Mobile phone.

If you didn't already know we also do full engine builds!!!!

Yes you read that correctly here at D.P Autoworks we don't just do body work and light mechanical we also do fully engine builds!! Here is some pics and videos of the Subaru EJ20 we recently built!!

This engine needed an overhaul because a Conrod bearing had failed due to oil starvation so while we had it apart the customer decided that now would be the time to build it ready for adding power!

The parts we used were:
Forged Maxspeeding Con rods,
new standard OE spec pistons,
High performance race bearings,
New crank,
New OE spec inlet and exhaust valves,
New Genuine Subaru oil pump,
New Genuine Subaru gasket kit,
New genuine Subaru head bolts and block bolts.

We also balanced the new pistons and ported and polished both cylinder heads.

Then we finished it off with a fresh coat of black engine enamel and then we custom painted the intake system in a nice deep candy red.

All the work on this engine was done in house!!!

Hello all, we have been quiet throughout most of the pandemic as some may have realised to allow us to keep our staff and customers safe. Now with restrictions finally being lifted we wanted you all to know we are still here and still open for business.

Here's a few photos of a job we completed last year just before the pandemic hit, all repairs were done in house including the repairs to the engine!!
