How do we work out your pension? For most members we use the measure of inflation known as RPI to increase the guaranteed part of your MPS pension. In June it was 2.9%. Details of how this will be applied for you will be outlined in your pension increase letter.

Did you contribute to the MPS after 1 April 1988? You might get a letter soon about an increase to your guaranteed minimum pension. This isn’t your main increase, which comes in September.
