Using a Drone Cage to help mitigate risk in a small, tight or confined space can achieve greater results than conventional approaches to surveying. For instance, this project worked out to be significantly more cost effective implementing a drone and operator as opposed to errecting scaffolding. The task was completed in a morning. Less time than it would have taken to unload the appropriate amount of scaffold equipment off a lorry. www.dronecage.co.uk
Another bespoke order today, to be finished in corporate colours. All four printers here at DCHQ will be working long into the night to meet a very tight deadline indeed. If it's not Dronecage, then it's not a drone cage.

Here's a side to Drone Cage we don't talk enough about really. This lovely looking Mavic Pro Artic Edition was in for a new camera gimbal ribbon, front vision sensor set, and gimbal top plate after being dropped from it's case. Now after 48 hours it's back together, fully calibrated and ready to work.

This weekend saw ATRP 4 and 5 out on the water again, conducting navigation drills. Fitted with LiDar technology, and photogrammetry equipment, both platforms spent over 2 hours collecting data for analysis, whilst broadcasting a live image back to the operators. ATRP is primarily designed to assess if an environment is safe for human access, but is also fully capable of carrying out survey work in difficult to reach, and confined spaces.
How Drone Cage began
Drone Cage was born out of necessity. We were presented with a task that could only be achieved with a drone. The concerning factor was the lack of airspace the drone had to operate in. We needed to be able to protect not only the blades, but the entire drone from potential impacts within the operating environment. We had a very short period of time to come up with something fast! After the task was successfully completed with quite possibly the world’s worst looking cage, we started to perfect the design.
Today, we have the market leading Drone Cages. We are proud to not only produce, but supply in volume the worlds only commercially available Drone Cage solution for multiple applications that are robust, reliable and payload compatible. We are also proud to have supplied UAV operators on almost every continent worldwide, including news agencies, military, law enforcement and search and rescue teams. Drone Cage’s excellent reputation has been tested in active theatre, disaster relief and commercial inspection environments time and time again, flawlessly.
