Having been unsure whether to post about our wonderful Queen Elizabeth's II passing, either on behalf of myself or as Pink Wedding Venues, I felt today a very poignant time to share my/our sadness and condolences to the Royal family at this awful time of loss. They have so much to contend with and all in the eyes of the world.
I watched today's procession as the Queen made her final journey, leaving Buckingham Palace for the last time, heading to the Palace of Westminster where she lay in state.
Watching the coffin move through the streets, lined with hundreds of thousands of onlookers, I was struck by the beautiful sunshine that made the stunning diamonds on her crown, which rested proudly on her coffin, glisten brightly on such a solemn day and occasion.
It reminded me of the Queen's radiant smile.
Instead of a formal photo tribute, we have put together a montage of some of our favourite "happy" pictures of her Majesty in better times.
Hopefully these images really show how infectious her beaming smile was.....
