The lovely walk from Cononley to Skipton was even better this week, as from was waiting to serve me a yummy icecream along the canal😍
Plus a deer, heron, swans, canal boats and birdsong .. .

Local community workshops at Broughton Hall Sanctuary are well worth doing if you are visiting our apartment. !
Diligently working alongside experts, such as Professor Alistair Driver, huge rewilding projects are underway.....(wow,I didnt know, there was so much to know about natural habitats!!🙈🤔)This man was brilliant!

It's a beautiful 3000 acre estate with free access for nature walks which are well worth doing, then finish off with a meal at the local pub on the estate, called The Bull at Broughton

There are SO many beautiful places to visit within North Yorkshire😍...yesterdays' adventure took us to Grassington.

What a lovely place !A quaint village ,with a gorgeous icecream shop , various independent little shops and a great pub to visit !👍

Then a lovely walk along the stunning river bank which incidentally turns out to be part of the Dales Way .

Interesting to witness the hive of activity,as they prep for filming of the next series of All Creatures Great and Small . 👏

Beuuuuutiful morning in sunny Yorkshire. Happy Saturday everyone 🌞🌞

The interior of the Mill has been sympathetically restored with its industrial heritage in mind . For example, quirky features such as steel upright columns have been retained (Damian thinks they may make good pole dancing options....mmmm good luck with that!!🤣)
Floor to ceiling windows give the living and bedrooms the wow factor, and provide a panoramic view of the local scenery.

A substantial south facing double balcony, offers a sheltered suntrap. Here, you can put your feet up enjoy your coffee (or wine) whilst you count sheep in the opposite field.

(We are looking forwards to watching the lambs over the coming weeks frollicking in the sun)🐑🐇🦔🐦

No matter the season,the Leeds-Liverpool canal is on the doorstep and brings peace and serenity in abundance. Easy walks to 4miles West or walk to the next village 1mile East .

Forget the stresses , this Yorkshire mill certainly offers an indulgent Christmas get away ❤️

Damian and I have bought a fantastic apartment in a refurbished Mill in Cononley, just south of Skipton, North Yorkshire.
We have spent a lot of time furnishing it sympathetically to its industrial heritage
It offers two double bedrooms , two bathrooms and a huge open living/dining area with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the beautiful countryside which is truly a wow factor.
A south facing double balcony gives you sheltered, unadulterated views, makes a beautiful place to enjoy coffee whilst listening to running water from the adjacent beck.
Cononley train station is literally 100 metres away and gives you ample opportunity to leave your car in the secure parking and venture out into beautiful Yorkshire by rail. Local walks are abundant and open to all abilities .The nearby river is a haven for anglers. The thriving local pubs, The Railway and The New Inn offer entertainment, food and drink . The local village shop offers all manner of local produce ( including wine and chocolate! )

If you fancy a staycation , this is a fantastic destination and will allow you to relax in luxury surroundings with great connectivity for the whole of Yorkshire
