Kathryn Arbon Jewellery
Dorset based jeweller working to commission in silver and gold, wedding rings, engagement rings, and Kathryn has a strong interest in gemology.
Kathryn is more than happy to discuss commission work for wedding and engagement rings. Old gold and gemstones can be recycled, creating new pieces of jewellery to cherish and adore. A life long fascination with the natural beauty of gemstones was embedded as a child. Time was spent combing North Norfolk beaches, collecting pebbles and sea-glass, bringing them home to later polish in a stone tumbl

A little about me.
A life long fascination with the natural beauty of gemstones was embedded as a child. Time was spent combing North Norfolk beaches, collecting pebbles and sea-glass, bringing them home to later polish in a stone tumbler. This pass time and a small scale focus in art has lead me to my chosen career path. In my creative work, I am more than happy to discuss commission work for wedding and engagement rings. Old gold and gemstones can be recycled, creating new pieces of jewellery to cherish and adore.
I have a strong interest in gemmology. Having passed the Gem-A FGA Foundation course, and Diploma Practical of the Gemological Association of Great Britain. My continued study is focused on the recent start of the The De Beers Diamond Foundation whilst also still exploring Gemmology Diploma content. Alongside work at the bench, I teach a silver Jewellery Class regularly at Dorset Centre for the creative Arts in Poundbury, and also at White Stones Art Studio on Portland, where I love to help her students realise their ideas creating their own pieces of silver jewellery.
In our changed world due to Covid-19 I am trying to reach out to students with home jewellery set-ups so that skills can continue to be built upon and social contact in different forms continues.
