📣D-Day 80 Proclamation

To mark the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of D-Day there will be a proclamation made by Mr Roy Goodwin at 1100 TOMORROW Thursday 6th June at the Clapping Circle on Ilfracombe seafront.

Representatives from Ilfracombe British Legion, Ilfracombe Town Council and the Rev John Roles will also be present.

Don’t miss the Jack In The Green next Sunday 5th May, when the community comes together to welcome the first signs of summer.
Parade starts from Wilder Road car park 11am, along the High Street, down Fore Street to the Clapping circle, where there will be maypole dancing and the stripping of the Green Man.

🎉 Join us in celebrating RNLI's 200th birthday! Our amazing parks team has created a stunning RNLI 200 mow on Capstone Hill. Catch a glimpse and mark your calendars for the town photograph on Saturday, 16 March, at 2pm. The team at RNLI Ilfracombe say: “Our local community has always been the life and soul of our lifeboat service here in Ilfracombe - as crew members (and their families), supporters, volunteers - so we would love to celebrate with as many people as possible! Our crew will be wearing their distinctive yellows.💛If you would like to bring something yellow too, that would be fantastic! We can’t wait to see you on Capstone!”

Save the date - Ilfracombe Art Trail 11th and 12th May
