36 year old glowworm & cylinder removed, Glowworm ultimate combi conversion, relocated upstairs to make way for new kitchen units.

Combi for combi replacement & combi conversion from an old inefficient floor standing heating boiler & separate hot water heater.

Both properties will benefit from an increase in efficiency.

Nice garden tap installation for now the new access door to the garden has been installed...

Hot & cold taps fitted with a thermostatic mixing valve on the hot tap as a safety precaution as it's main use will be to fill the paddling pool for the little ones, the mixing valve limits the temperature to 43°C so there is no danger of the water getting too hot🔥🔥

This one is going to be a bit special!

1st job was an emergency toilet repair ready for a weekend gathering,
then to remove a couple of radiators and replace them with some lovely anthracite traditional column style radiators.
One of which needed to be relocated to make way for the new doorway to be installed leading out to the garden on the ground floor.

I can't share too much as will be doing a reveal of the new colour scheme in the next few days!

Not had a chance to post for a while with lots of installation work going on.

This weeks installation was to replace a system I've been taking care of with repairs for the last few years.

The boiler fitted in 1999 was replaced with the latest Glowworm Energy7 30kw combi boiler to improve efficiency & hot water demands. The egg timer fitted to the power shower a clue as to how quickly the hot water would run out ⌛️

●Tanks removed to provide extra storage & no longer a time limit on showering thanks to the newly installed thermostatic mixer shower🚿
●Smart heating controls via the app.

Took the opportunity today to visit the Whitby hydrogen experience centre. Who invited local gas installers to find out some information & see how the future of gas could be changing🔥

I've been asked multiple questions from home owners within the trial area over the last few months regarding hydrogen gas appliances and what it means for them and their current gas boilers, fires & hobs.
I now feel I can answer most queries but if not I definitely recommend visiting the friendly helpful team at the experience centre for a coffee & a chat, maybe even cook a pancake on a hydrogen hob 🍳

The trial is now an opt in/opt out proposal so you have a choice whether to participate or not & stay on natural gas🔥

🏠Bunbury project final week putting in some long hours to get this huge heating system finished for the owners to be able to move in next week!

After 14 months this house has undergone a huge transformation & now has heating & hot water again🔥

The traditional cast iron radiators throughout the reception rooms & traditional towel radiators in each of the 4 new bathrooms are stunning✨️

The Family bathroom has now been installed with its huge freestanding bath 🛁
