WOW! I am absolutely lost for words... Over the past week, I have been inundated with orders for my Bestseller Handprint "Grow with Me" T-shirts, and I feel like this little beauty, Niamh, has a little something to do with it! 🥰

Not work related at all.. But I had some "me" time at the weekend! 🥰 We travelled to a secret location in Kent, where we enjoyed drinks, dinner and folk music around this beautiful campfire, whilst listening to tales and stories about wildlife and nature! 🐦🌿
Once it was dark, we took a midnight walk through the woodland (in complete silence, with nothing but the moonlight to guide us) to find and listen to the songs of the Nightingale - It was such an amazing experience, but unfortunately, the Nightingale will be extinct in the UK in the next 30 years! 😢

I feel so lucky to have experienced something that some may never get to! Huge thank you to Sam and for a wonderful experience, and I'd defo recommend going if you can! 🥰

And That's a Wrap for 2023... 🎬 It's been a LOOONNGG December to say the least.. We closed our books for new orders on the 4th as we were at almost 1000 outstanding order, and we're down to 9 remaining, which are for the new year! Horray! 🙌🏼

A few spanners thrown into the mix the past month consisted of;

1. Both of my boys getting Strep (initially thought to be Scarlet Fever) and being off of school, which is always tricky trying to juggle work and kids, especially when they were so very unwell and wanted/needed the cuddles 😔🤒🤕

2. One of our embroidery machines had some issues, requiring an engineer to be called out 3 times and we're still no closer to it working 100% 😮‍💨 Which lead to us purchasing a third machine to catch up with our orders.. 🪡🧵

3. I then got COVID last week - of all the weeks to possibly get ill, it HAD to be the busiest week of the year.. 😑 I had 2 days of feeling like death, having a 2 day long migraine and was exhausted 💀🧟‍♀️ thankfully, I'd brought the embroidery machines home from the office, which allowed me to be able to work at home, otherwise I have no idea how I would have coped! 🏡😷😴

4. Juggling general December home life, such as Christmas mornings/afternoons at the schools, weekends away for The Polar Express, Christmas parties and Nativitys for both boys! 🎅🏼

I genuinely don't know how we've made it.. but we have! I've had some amazing extra hands helping with the workload and packaging, and without team work, we'd still be slaving away!

We are officially in holiday mode now! 😎⛄️ My Etsy store will reopen this weekend with extended dispatch times for dispatch in the new year! ✈️

Today's Office... 🫠💥 We have 150 more orders outstanding, some of which aren't due out until the new year, so we're on the final stretch! 💪🏼

I've replied to all Etsy messages this morning, so apologies for the delay in replys! We had hundreds to get through, but have been prioritising getting your orders printed and dispatched! 📦

I am working over this weekend doing embroidery and printing final items and any replacements on Monday! I am so very ready for the Christmas break! 🎄

SERVICE & DELIVERY UPDATE 🎄 If you have placed an order with us, I feel like we are on repeat. Please read the below;

1. DISPATCHED ITEMS 📬 - If your order is shown as "Dispatched" and you have a tracking number - Your item(s) are on their way. We can only see what you can see from the tracking numbers provided. We are aware of delays across the Royal Mail network, so please allow a little extra time beyond your 'Estimated Delivery Date' to account for this. We can only apologise that Royal Mail are sorting parcels at the speed of snails...(Sorry to my postie if you're reading this, haha) 🐌

2. CHRISTMAS PYJAMAS 🚂 - Red stripe PJs arrived with me yesterday. I have to sort through these and they will all be printed and dispatched Monday/Tuesday. The last batch of Velvet pyjamas are on their way and due to be delivered imminently. As soon as they arrive, these will be embroidered and dispatched.

3. CHRISTMAS POST 📮 - Unfortunately, we do not have capacity to fast track any further orders. We are going to be working very hard over the coming 2 weeks to fulfil your orders, at all hours of day and night, so please be kind during a very stressful and tiring time. All orders currently ordered prior to this message and guaranteed dispatch prior to Christmas (unless you have made us aware it is for January).

4. EMBROIDERY 🧵🪡 - We are aware of a small backlog of embroidered items. This is due to one of our embroidery machines breaking a few weeks ago - We've had a tech out to try sort it 3 times, which has made it a LITTLE better, but still not working properly. This pushed a few orders back, but we are putting plans on place to whizz through these orders ASAP.

Finally, there are only the two of us here 👭 - We have received hundreds of messages over the last few days, asking where orders are, dispatch dates, etc. This is time consuming to go through, so please don't expect a reply within 10 minutes of messaging, or get rude when you are met with an auto-reply stating we will get back to you within 24-48 hours. We can only do one thing at once, and surprisingly, we are human and have feelings! Who would have thought, ay? 😇
