Sorry but we are having internet connection problems and so may not be able to publish the Fantasy Sailing results until tomorrow. At least we should be able to include any changes due to protests, if there are any!

16/09/2016

I will update the protest decisions some time today when I get to my computer. For those not in the know unfortunately if you have the British Sonar on your team life ain't looking that good. Hopefully things will improve.

Results are in. As the Aussies make it to the top of all 3 classes, we have a Brit back on top. Flatulence (Ric Cassell) has taken the golden position (even without an Aussie in his team). Six nations (Andrew Street) are back into the top 3 in Silver and Kick Ass Sailing (Trond Sverre Foerde) has dropped into the Bronze. , yeaboi, Boxing Skippy, Dragons in Rio, Boombox, Pretty Boys Sailing Club, Backing the Brits round out the Top 10. It is close behind with team Frazzled, Wet Dream Team, KGB Sports Department, Rope4boats.co.uk all just 1 point outside the top 10. It's going to get exciting. Stay tuned for tomorrow.

Updated results for the protest decisions. Now I know why sailing is not a spectator sport. It definitely makes more work for me. They didn't change anything for the top 17 teams. Anybody with the Italian Skud life is not great. It's not over yet.

Just a quick update on the Squads that have already been entered! Only Megan and I can see the Squads selection until day one of racing but some great choices already!! Tell your friends that might be interested in joining us!!

Timeline photos 05/09/2016

Enter your squad of 6 boats; two 2.4mR's, two SKUD 18's and two Sonar's. As Squad Manager you have a total of 100 points to spend on selecting your squad. The cost of each boat has been set based on their recent past performance.

The scoring system to be used will be the same as in the Paralympic Sailing competition, ie low points. Points will be awarded to each of your six squad boats on each race. Each competitor will have one race discard, provided more than 4 races are sailed. In the game, similar points will be awarded for the final overall results (as if it were another race) but non discardable. The Fantasy Sailing competition winner will the Squad Manager with the lowest combined score for their 6 boat squad.

Entries close on Monday 12 September 2016 at 17.00 BST and CET.

Enter your squad now on the link below or click the 'sign up' button on the Fantasy Sailing page.

Here is our sailor points costing sheet. The sailor points cost has been worked out by past competitions and a good way to help select a winning squad.
