Our students had an amazing day in London with our partner company UKG Language! 🇬🇧

Last week our group of international students from Spain and China, along with our local English students, had the opportunity to explore the vibrant city of London! 🌃

They visited famous landmarks like Big Ben, The London Eye, and The British Museum. It was a fun-filled day where students practiced their English, discovered new places, and made lasting memories together!

UK Guardians enjoyed a fantastic evening at School for student Selma’s Parents Evening! 📚✨ This was made even more special with the presence of our director, Helen, and dedicated student coordinator, Jenny.

We were grateful for the warm welcome and wonderful conversations. Selma’s shining reports from her dedicated teachers fill us with pride, being part of her educational journey is truly special. And that delicious spread of food? Simply unforgettable 🍽️🩷

When the lessons are over. The experience continues… 🤩our Swiss students have enjoyed activities such as visiting Hengisbury Head beach 🏖️, the cinema 🎥 🍿, Brownsea Island 🦚 🐿️ mini golf ⛳️, the cat cafe and Durdle Door 🏝️ Jurassic Coast. Dorset has so much variety to offer our students with a cultural mix of city and countryside 🙌.

Congratulations to our second group of Spanish Primary School Teachers who have completed a 4-week programme of Content Language Intergrated Learning (CLIL) with activities 🌳🪵 🏖️ and excursions 🌆 🏰. They do not want to leave Bournemouth 😢 🇬🇧. We will miss you all very much ❤️. It is great to be working in partnership with .language.school, who have provided outstanding and engaging lessons 🤩.

Our groups from Switzerland have had a blast on a bespoke teaching an activity ‘summer special’ programme with a mixture of lessons 🏫 and real life experience . This includes culture immersion with British children in outdoor activity camp 🤩. Exciting activities such as fairytale gardens 🪴, Pinocchio pantomimes 🐳, sea creature creations 🧜‍♀️, equation relay races 🏃, match stick math puzzles and 3 little pig houses 🐷 🏠. It’s an honour to be partnering up with Swiss Univeristy GIBZ and . Team work makes the dream work 🤩🙌.

Our students from Switzerland have enjoyed a fun filled excursion to the Jurassic Coast yesterday! They explored the famous Durdle Door beach and Lulworth Cove village 🌊 🏝️. Fun was had by all! ☀️

Our group of students, who are teachers in Spain have visited the beautiful nature reserve of Hengistbury Head 🏞️🏖️and had a talk from Dr. Hayden Scott Pratt about the history of the nature reserve, and how it is protected for all the species it inhabits 🦅 🐦 🪺 🌳. They also visited the famous Russell Cotes Art museum 🖼️ learning about the history of Bournemouth and why the pieces of art are so valued!

Summer in the South of England has well and truly arrived ☀️. UK Guardians took advantage of this and organised a trip to the famous Isle of Wight for our study abroad students 🤩. The chair lift is the best way to see all the stunning sites of this beautiful island. UK Guardians is excited to be at Studyworld UK in London. The first in person event since 2019 😱. It was an amazing networking party last night at the Hilton Bankside and we are back here today to meet some new partners and explore how we can work together with international students. We have had a busy first day with our new students from Korea who are are here on a short term integration study abroad programme 🇰🇷🤩. After a lazy morning getting used to the time difference and some yummy breakfast🥞 😴, we then had a guided tour of Bournemouth town, gardens and beaches 🐿️ 🏬 🏖️. In the afternoon we practiced some ‘getting to know you’ activities preparing them for their first day of school🏫 tomorrow 👏.

Guardianship visits come in many ways. A walk around the grounds of the school, a trip to the local town centre or a coffee and McFlurry in Macdonalds 🤩. It was lovely to visit student Kay, and see the incredible illustration work she has been completing for her portfolio 🖼️ 🎨 👩‍🎨.

Another happy study abroad student completing a term at the brilliant Brockenhurst College 🏫. Maria has enjoyed staying with a British family and has adapted to British culture 🇬🇧. What a superstar ⭐️

What a great day spent exploring and getting to know more about their school and their Education system 📚We even had time to see two of our current students attending the school 😄 A massive thank you for having us ❤️

We had a busy day yesterday at the wonderful Milton Abbey School! Parents day (catching up on how our guardianship students are progressing) 📚 and a tour of the school and it’s magical grounds 🏰 for our Hong Kong partner, Charlotte. We had fantastic results and feedback all round 🤩.

Today we visited our guardianship student Emily from China at the prestigious Charterhouse School. We had a catch up to see how she was getting on. We had a bit of an emergency, and she needed to see an orthodontist as soon as possible🦷. No problem for UK Guardians! We arranged an emergency appointment and she was seen later today 🤩. No problem is too big for UK Guardians and we are always there for our students!

What our students have been up to this week! A visit to a 200 year old castle 🏰 , exploring the award winning beaches, visiting students in a British high school 🏫 , a cream tea 🍰 , activities, excursions and lots of interactive learning! 🤩

We have some very exciting news. We finally had our inspection from the British council this summer and we are now OFFICIALLY British Council accredited 🤩. We cannot thank everyone enough for all their support, we are forever grateful! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
