Another gorgeous 😍 baby on her way home! Congratulations Lyra, pictured with mum Kathleen and dad Alex.
Lyra was born at 30+2 weeks weight 810gms at UCLH and transferred to our unit at 36 weeks. She was discharged yesterday at 40+3 weeks weight at 2.050kg.

*** this baby is pictured in her car seats as a representation that she is finally going home. Our car park is a few minutes walk so the baby may be pictured in layers which will be taken off once the seat is secured in the car. The straps will be tightened then too. Introducing today’s Whittington Babies Kadija and Fatima 💜💜 They were born at 30 weeks, Kadija weighed 1.49 kgs and Fatima weighed 1.7kgs. We’re going to continue our protest against the closure of our NICU by showing how many lives we have impacted.

Change of venue for this Saturday! Due to unforeseen circumstances this will now be taking place upstairs at Lauderdale house, Waterlow Park, Highgate Hill, London N6 5NB still at 2pm. This is a 10 minute walk uphill from Archway / The Whittington or you can take either the 143 or W5 from Archway. Massive thanks to our friends for hosting us at such short notice.
