Having spent his childhood years sailing around Mersea Island the owner of Estuary Rib Tours thought that it would be lovely for everyone to experience the amazing scenery and beautiful wildlife of his home town.
Estuary Rib Tours is a family run business that provide boat trips around Mersea Island . You can enjoy the Blackwater Estuary on our 8m Cobra Rib, ‘Hi Fizz’. The boat carries up to 8 guests in comfort, she is skippered by one of our team of experienced trained skippers. She has a 225hp V6 Mercruiser 2 stroke engine ensuring a comfortable ride even at 30 knots.
‘Hi Fizz’ is fully equipped with all the safety equipment required to ensure your safety and pleasure. Self inflating life jackets are supplied and prior to the trip you will be given a 10 minute safety talk.
We offer a range of popular trips around the Blackwater Estuary one of which is A stunning scenic coastal cruise along #Mersea Islands Coastline heading towards the Nass beacon, up the estuary towards Osea Island and #Maldon past Radio Caroline and back. Relax on our rib and enjoy this cruise along some of the most amazing coast line the UK has to offer. This trip is suitable for families with children aged 6 and above.
